Every day we take prescription medications without considering the side effects. Below is a chart showing the possible side effects of various medications that CBD has been known to help with. Although we do not claim to cure any illness or that CBD will work for you, we do know that millions of people are getting off prescription drugs thanks to CBD and to date we do not know of any known side effects from CBD.

WARNING
If you are taking medications that process through the liver, such as blood thinners or cholesterol medicine or if you are on dialysis, consult with your doctor before taking CBD.
CBD is generally well tolerated and considered safe, however there have been a few side effects reported in clinical studies including diarrhea, fatigue and changes in appetite.
CBD, like grapefruit, is a CYP450 inhibitor, more specifically 2C19 and 3A4. These are a family of enzyme inhibition means that CBD can affect how long it takes your body to clear other medications. Limited research has shown this inhibition to be somewhat dose dependent. A 2013 Report on a clinical trial using Sativex, a whole plant CBD-rich sublingual spray, found no interactions with CYP enzymes when approximately 40mg of CBD were administered. A subsequent clinical trial, however, found that 25mg of oral administered CBD significantly blocked the metabolism of an anti-epileptic drug.
